Muay Thai: The Art of Eight Limbs

Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing, is a traditional martial art and combat sport that originated in Thailand. It is an art form that incorporates the use of eight limbs: fists, elbows, knees, and shins. With its powerful striking techniques and clinching maneuvers, Muay Thai is not only an effective self-defense system but also an exceptional full-body workout.

What to Expect:

Be ready for a workout. Class is cardio intense and we commonly do HIIT style workouts. Along with a workout we focus on learning and improving your technique. Lots of pad work and drills are common place.

This isn’t your run of the mill gym with a cardio kickboxing class. You’re going to learn proper techniques in the art of Muay Thai.

We have the focus mitts, pads and a few gloves to loan out for new students. If you come on the regular we recommend getting your own gloves at some point. Additional items you may want are hand wraps, mount guard, shin guards, and flip flops to easily go to the restroom off the mats. For your first class athletic apparel, a water bottle and flip flops are all you need.

Who is it for?

Our experienced and skilled instructors will guide you through a dynamic and engaging training session suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. If your a beginner come in and do what you can. It’s a process that takes time.

Class is currently open for new students.
